Best guess what these may be please?

Found these at a couple job sites I work at where they dig the foundations.
The egg shaped one required no work just rinsing.

The other 2 had a purple black layer I invested much time removing.

The first one looks like a sedimentary rock. I can see the layers where it formed. Gary
