Best metal detector for 800usd

If your going to use it near salt water, forget it. If will be unstable. You can't really believe the hype.

i know my friend.
But i want somethimes to go throw salt water beach. So if have any metal detector who have this possibility please tell me.

Buy a nice used Etrac...

I cant, i am from Montenegro, in my country, i can buy metal detector.
I only send my family who travel to USA to buy me, so i must buy new, because if i buy used, i dont know if seller a scammer or not.

Makro Racer 2

Nokta Impact if you can swing an extra $100 more.

I am interested of Nokta Impact and Makro Racer 2.
But i didnt find anywhere that Nokta Impact saltwater waterproof.
And how deep i can go to saltwater with this two detectors?
Do this detectors good with the gold?

Both are GREAT for gold, neither are WATERPROOF! Only the coil - NOT the control box, so 1'foot of water only! Wet sand, ankle deep.:skullflag:

Syefs, all single frequency detectors will be unstable in saltwater sand. What you need is either an EXCEl, CZ-21 or even a Whites BHID. A PI detector would also work but lacks good discrimination. all these are totally waterproof. Good Luck.:coffee2: I know these are out of your price range but there are used ones. Lots of guys give up the hobby and sell their used detectors.

whites mx sport, will do everything but the salt water wont be as good as pi machines or duel field.

but how a lot of people said Garret at pro is good waterproof metal detector for only 500usd?
Can anyone tell me why dual frequency is better for beach hunting?
When i search the beach, do i mush change this and two times search the beach or what?

two freqs at the same time - reason is that a single freq detector - ground balanced to the wet salt has little depth.
