I think the original salt water tests on the Tesoro printed spiral coil, in the wet sand of the shoreline, on a PI detector was about 12" for a Lincoln penny. At that time 12" in salty sand compared to other detectors meant more depth. How about Sand Shark with this coil?

Compared to a good PI no. About half the depth on a good day. I have 2 real good Excal. And 4 or more real good Pulse Inductions.
I didn't think so up against a PI, and the post was for a salt machine recommendation, but we also love the whole detector in the headphones thing.
