Hello there RockinIdaho! I do not see any man made flaking on your item and do not think it was used as a chopper. But do not give up in the search for those elusive artifacts.

Unless it shows flakes removed rock will be called on the piece. Quartz is tough to see any work from a screen. Looks to be a large removed flake 1st stage reduction. Might of been used might not
