that is definitely a better date (mintage 1,165,000) and a great find and even in G4 cond. has a little numis. value as I'm sure you know.

I found a 1918 Walker just last month (my earliest Walker find yet) but it's probably just in AG cond. I also found a better date '27S (mintage 2,392,000) in the same box that's probably in G4 cond. like your coin. And I got lucky again with a nice '43 Walker I found in my last box on Fri. (probably grades F). So Lady Liberty has sure been lucky for me lately too! :)

Nice find!!!!

I've only pulled 2 Walking Libs...both 1944's.
