Howdy all,

I have had some discomfort with the factory "S" rod. I was thinking about how custom pistol grips increase in diameter towards the bottom. Well I took that idea and applied it using bicycle grips. It spreads the load over all fingers, not just the index finger. Much more comfortable. I hope this helps some of you out. Good luck.

Great idea. Let us know after a few uses how it feels.

It looks interesting and very ergonomic. Let us know how it works.

Great look if it's better then the one that comes on it let us know , good idea !

You might also try Ergon bike grips, you can pick 'em up at bike shops.

Hay all,

It will be a while until I have a chance to do any hunting because of work. As far as where to buy the grips, any bicycle shop or department store or on line retailer will have lots of choices. I paid about seven dollars for the pair. One for each detector.

Hay all,

I had a chance to get out for a couple of hours today and the new grip works great. I usually get some strain in my arm, but not today. It isn't perfect, but for a few dollars and ten minutes I like it.
