I took a professional photographer into this mine for him to document...these are some of my pictures...this mine is a few miles from my house.....would you go beyond the rabbit hole not knowing whats inside.....to get in you must wiggle on your belly for 15 feet...crawl

I wouldn't crawl in there, but I don't like tight spaces like that. My very good friend was a miner & would tell stories about crawling in places like that & they got so narrow, he would then have to back his way out a great distance. Not for me, but I do enjoy your pictures.

We winter in Arizona and do a lot of rockhounding, and i must say that would be a rockhounds paradise. Beautiful pictures and a lot of potential for some nice material! Be careful. My wife gets excited when I go into old mines that really should not be entered. The picture with the Azurite really looks beautiful. I know you will keep the exact location to yourself, but could you tell us what state this is in?

I have no problem going into old mines... this one especially I wanted to have a professional photographer document it...i leave nothing but footprints....... I don't take specimens. .... especially from this mine seeing how everything is loaded with arsenic..... I'm more on the side of preservation and documentation...... I'll take the risk so others can see....db
