BH 3300 pinpointer any ideas

I have read the book...my Bh 3300 gets a reading then I
turn on pinpointer it beeps on and on regardless if
I follow instructions. In other words it is no help I would
have to dig up the whole place according to the pinpointer.

Please do not say read the book..I know it my heart.

sounds like the unit might be faulty. If you bought it locally, take it back to the shop and complare it with another. If you bought it from an online store, like ebay, etc., contact the manufacturer.

Spez is right on taking it back. Many stores that sell the BH will just exchange it if you still have the receipt. If you did get it mail order or online, you'll have to send it in to the manufacturer yourself. If it has a warranty, your in luck.
