A smaller number of them, but here is a pic I took a while ago of some of my favorite bifurcates. A couple are from KY. Didn't find them. They are well provenanced and unquestionably authentic.

Really nice bifurcated points guys, they get pretty big up there in Ohio. The ones down here are smaller, but they seem to be plentiful in some areas. These early archaic forms are some of my favorites, good topic here Jeff, it gave me some motivation to put a type frame together.

Jon, those are just incredible pieces. That is some of the nicest cosh I've seen and that piece is flawless. The two sonora points to the left are super fine as well, awesome handful of high grade materials you got there.

Enjoyed this post. You guys have some wonderful bifuracate types. I did not see any from this far South so here are a few of mine that I found from Tenn and N.Ala. The second Kirk by itself is the one I strive to beat when I find one.

I forgot a little one that is very well made. It is from Miami Co. Ohio. I didn't find it because I would have missed it. Still a neat little piece about 3/4" long and just perfectly made. Scott

Scott you are right thats a neat little point. An easy one to miss. I guess the bufuracates were pretty wide spread?
