Big jump in steel prices coming!

Just heard that all grades of steel are going to jump this month. Anywhere from 25 to 60 dollars per ton!

Yes, this info comes from one of the largest scrap buyers in the US!

11 cents a pound in central Ohio

Lately has been about 160 a ton here in the DFW area, took some in yesterday and got 205 a ton. Nice spike.

Shreddable steel or tin scrap and cars are now at 14 cents a pound in Chattanooga. If these prices keep going up they will start stealing stoves and washing machines besides HVAC units. Regards, Chris.

went to 11 and a half cents a pound here but that was 2 weeks ago might be up since then I hope
