One of the better fields had a deep plow recently. We hit that field since 2012 and called it almost finished. Now, with the deep plow some stuff showed up again. It was an ankle breaker and needs to be rolled down to get better results but it was worth the try.
Best find was a Sestercius of Faustina the elder.
Diva Faustina I AE Sestertius. Rome Mint 147 AD. Obverse: DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust right. Reverse: CONSECRATIO S-C, Vesta standing left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar and holding long torch. RIC: 1130. Size: 33mm

I know what you mean, at this point anything is worth it.

Lu,

Good score on the Roman coin.

just finding all that at the end of your rainbow is a good day.....Congrats!

How cool is that? You digging that 147AD. :notworthy: Heck I'd be elated to break into the 1700's club. I'd take a 1799, I'm not picky.

Thanks Bill, a Sestercius in better than average condition is always nice to find.
