Jumped in Ct. waters today - was hoping for fresh drops - fresh gold
place had been hammered recently - big ring was first target and prob lost day before
I do not know what its made of yet - but not precious - has scripture around it
was not getting much in the regular swim area so went to fishing area that used to be swimming area - got a faint hit
and dug deep - came up with a nickel - thought it was a buffalo - turned out to be a V
got another faint hit near it and thought I might have another - turned out to be small "old gold" 14k band

Congratulation on the nice hunt. You know how to make the right changes to fill your pouch with the good stuff. Those faint ones can be rewarding, but for me they are mostly exhausting. Thanks for sharing and hope you find more good stuff.

Your finds are always amazing. Congrats

Great hunt...congrats on the gold.

Congrats on everything, Casper. Could you post a photo of just the V nickel?

A VERY nice day indeed! Let us know what the biggin is! :occasion14:

Casper, you are amazing with that detector!:notworthy:

Congrats again on those nice finds; I love those "V" nickels; wish I could find a few more.

Congratz on GOLD! :2barsgold: It looks to have been a pretty good day even without the rings!

the V is right under the rings in the photo - its on its side so you can see >...instead of V

Congrats on everything, Casper. Could you post a photo of just the V nickel?

usually nickels come out great at this spot (for saltwater finds)
where its just the sand - but this one came out of black sand with rocks - pennies come out crusted here too
I got 3 wheats near by the V

Thanks, casper-2! Looks pretty corroded.

Love the old gold band!!
