Sweet!.... congrats.......

Very nice Relic Hound!!! Listen to your Veteran Relic Hunter Uncle and you'll find a lot more coins & CW Relics to add to your collection. Looking forward to meeting you. It's VERY refreshing to see a 12 yr. old young man interested in recovering history with a metal detector. HH, Quindy.

That is a great piece of silver buddy! :hello2:
The walking Liberty is one of my favorite's for sure.
I'm looking forward to meeting y'all soon.

Big silver like that is a GREAT find. And in terms of half dollars, that is the most beautiful. Congratulations on getting your metal detecting career off to a Bang! Congratulations to you. Keep hunting, and above all, keep posting your finds.

Best Wishes,

Holy Smokes is right! That is a real beauty! .. okay they are both great finds, but that silver sure is pretty! Congratulations!!! :hello2:

I've only found one of those big silvers and I can still remember how exciting it was to find it! Then there was this time that I skipped over a great signal that I thought was too deep to dig...being that the ground was like cement. ::) Anyhow, a buddy of mine came along behind me and dug up a Morgan dollar. :-X :D Yeah...I still think about that one. :D
Congratulations on that super find and welcome to Tnet~ I'll try to keep my next comment short and simple.

HH...
Nana :hello:

nice day of finds!!!!!!!!!! MR TUFF

Nice AVATAR buddy :icon_thumleft:  That's a beautiful coin there that any detectorist can be proud of! Your area is full of relics and coins and they're all out there for

the taking. I'm confident that this is just the start of a passion that you will keep with you for a lifetime. I'll bet that you really like Civil War relics like I do and with alittle

detecting time and patience, you'll be out there digging Minie Balls and Eagle buttons before long! :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft:

I was hunting in the backwoods of Tennesse and heard the wind whisper across the mountain about a dug "Walking Liberty". :notworthy: Beautiful silver Relic Hound. My favorite coin.
Welcome to t-net. I look forward to reading your post. Alway's nice to see a fellow friend in Tennessee. You are starting off pretty strong with that big silver. Congratulations !!!
Happy Huntin :icon_sunny:

Congrats on a great find. It is good to see other Tennesseans out hunting in this heat. I just know this fall you will have an awesome time relic hunting and I can't wait to see your finds.

Any silver is a good day, big silver is better :hello2:

I started at 11 years old but it took my Dad 10 & my finds to improve before he joined the hunt. With over 10 years detecting together we are now a well oiled team. Stick at it for 10 years & I know your have a great collection & better memories.

nice silver-congrats!
