Big Silver! Welcome to the party Ben!

Thanks to WHADIFIND! I just posted on his page yesterday that I've been inviting Ben to my silver party, but he has yet to show up. Well he has now!

Silversmith and I went back to the place where I found my half real and Barber half dollar. The only silver I found was Ben (1952d), but he's my first, so I'm happy!

I found some clad, a 1945 and 1954d Wheats and 2 buttons. I may post them later after I have them cleaned up some. One has some kind of design for sure.







I didn't want to clean it at all, but I couldn't get that black off of his ear. I cleaned some, and left it as shown. Thanks for looking!

Great find. With all these Franklin's being found, maybe I'll finally get lucky and dig one. That coin has been on my bucket list for well over 25 years. I know if I start hitting some yards and get out of the pounded parks, my odds will rise greatly...

Thanks Loco! I was using the E-TRAC. It's become my go-to machine for homes. It really does sniff out silver!

My last trip to this site produced a Barber half and a half real using the F75.

I've found Barbers,Kennedys and a number of Walkers but never a Franklin. Still looking.
