Went out yesterday found a nice standing half, merc dimes ,and v nickel I’m not sure what the metal bracket is it looks to be silver.does anyone no what it could be?

Love the half! All old hair pieces I find are Brass.. Looks plated near the lower part but pictures can be deceiving. Upper part does look like silver. .. really hard to tell. Looks like a real good spot, I find those silver coins I can smell Gold.... Keep us informed on the one piece also.

thanks Ill check to see if its plated later today when I get home.I was surprised of the detail left on the half back side is better then the front nothing was cleaned just gentle raised with water

Strike two, it's actually commonly called a Walking Liberty Half Dollar or Walker! Well done!

oops thats why Im here to learn.Still got one more.Always good info here cleaned the clip up the end that was discolored was dirt dont think its plated

Good job... but i have to say... and take no offense... but... that is the weirdest looking Liberty.

Seems odd... the Rim is too high... and detail looks off... perhaps just the photo... but... ?

no offense taken arc theres a spot light shined a crossed it to show the detail. Ill check it closer aginst pics on the internet not familiar with that coin.Are you thinking maybe counterfeit??
