Big sterling signet ring tonight

Ive got a new field permission for a few weeks until planting. It once held a home and barns on it. Farmer said he has picked up indians from off the surface. Lots of iron as well as high conductive trash Not many pull tabs though. This was mainly a clean up hunt with lots of trash dug. I did manage 4 wheats and a large older sterling signet ring. I hope the finds improve

The ring is broke and bent on the bottom(plow) but is marked sterling. The mark looks worn as does the whole ring so it was clearly loved by someone for a long time and was likely sorely missed

Don't get me wrong. I love the ring. Probably my best non gold ring find. Its hard to lower my expectations though after finding a field full of seated coins
