Yeah, I've sold some things super fast, normally to have the buyer message and say they made a mistake. :BangHead: However, I came across an old commodore computer, and was going to scrap it, but thought someone on ebay would want it, so I ran it. I put it on at probably 8 pm. The bid was low, but low enough that I wouldn't mind selling it at that. I thought maybe it would get a few bids and possibly a war. I also added a buy it now that I thought was ridiculous. It gained a watcher in the first 10-20 minutes, so I was excited. When I checked the next morning, it had sold later that night, and when it went off, it had 5 or so watchers. I was shocked but proud and the buyer was very happy. :hello2: I wish everything I sold done that.

This has happened to me on more than one occasion. Perhaps this person just had to have the item? You never know. Still, a very good profit so I would be happy!

It really depends on how well you know the item, and because you posted what you did that tends to say not good enough, so probbaly under priced. However, I have had things sell very fast that I knew were over priced, or at least at the top end of the market, so you never really know unless you know.... and the key is to know! (when you list)

Yea knowing is key. I did check completed listings and the same album didn't sell at a starting bid of $29.99 and it ran through 3 listing without selling. I guess sometimes someone sees a BIN and has to jump at it.

And the album was?
Stag party LP from 1960.

My quickest sale was 2 minutes 15 seconds. Priced too low!! But many of the things I find, I cannot find them on Ebay, or by doing other research.

May I ask what you sold it for?
I just pulled a Commodore out of my "sell someday" cabinet yesterday and will be listing soon. I will make sure i list it for more than you did. I can always lower my price if it doesn't sell but can't raise it later.

Or can you send me a link to the auction? Want to make sure we are talking the same machine.

I just had a sterling silver ladle listed for $140 bin Obo. Sold in about 2 min. When the guy got it I asked him when it was maid, he said 1860s by whiting? Oh well paid $40 so at least there was some profit! Another one was in 1960s New York State police thrench coat jacket. Listed by now for 500 or best offer it wasn't up there for 20 minutes. Some paid $500. I paid $1. I wonder what it would've gone for!

Cyber dan, mine was a personal computer 64 or something like that. It was big and everything. If you put a picture of yours on here, then I can see if it is like it, I couldn't find my listing. It sold for $130 free shipping starting bid of $60.

Hey cyberdan, mine was actually a 128 d, I found the listing. The keyboards sell for like $60 by itself, but mine sadly didn't have one.

I think this is what I have. Was there ever a game by them that looked like this? I know it is a keyboard but isn't the computer built into this? This is just a google pic. I have not looked real close at mine yet.

I'm not really sure. Yours should have a number on it somewhere that you can look up. They sell pretty good from what I've saw.

That was my first computer back in the 80's. The computer was build into the keyboard, and you could add an external tape drive or floppy drive to them. They sold new for a few hundred dollars.

That looks like about the right price to me. It will probably sell pretty quick.

I listed a gruen 10k gold filled watch. Working condition. $49.99 bin Obo. Walk out the room, 7 minutes later hear the ding on my phone.... Sold! With $4 shipping. I hope they enjoy it!

A quick funny story I bought another one today and when I went to pay for it I asked the lady how much she wanted for this old woman's watch! Lol. She said she was the old woman!! Oops... It was $2! Hehe. As I was saying it I wanted to eat my words, I wanted to say instead for this old watch not a woman's watch! She was kinda offended.....

Did you look into that watch? I took a quick look at vintage Gruen 24 hour watches and it seems they do better than $50.
