Who knew rockhounding could be as fun as gold prospecting! Took the kids out with me on Sunday to look for Bird's Eye Rhyolite. This is what we came back with. Once cut and polished these will be very cool.

Same area. It wasn't as easy to find as the clubs mentioned though. Maybe I was looking in the wrong area?

Semi polished. This is as far as I take it. Hopefully it will be purchased an the new owner can take it to the next level.
