I got a whole tub full of brokes from last week. Found 20 things worth framing and the rest which if whole would of been about 100. Brings a tear every time I bend down and see its only half there.

that green thing is a broke jade pendant
i don't know where they got the material maybe from a trader/trapper?
i sure think it is jade but i might be wrong
we have found several of these
they are oval shaped with a hole in them
one time maybe 4-5 years ago russy and i were surface hunting when i picked up one of these in perfect shape.....
....he was about 15 feet south of me at the time so i held it up and showed him....'lookie here russy'
russy says wow! then he takes another step and says 'hey stevie now YOU lookie here!'.....
....and yup you guessed it there was another laying right at his feet almost the same but a bit different shade of green

most of the little dime size pendants we find are made from river mussel shell.....just sayin'

yup it is except the base is broke off
