heres another one f rom warren co i like the black flint i wish i knew more about identifying the different lithic materials i have learned from this forum there are many diferent kinds i have just called all of it flint in the past

thanks for all the comments the spots you see on that one side are mineral deposits the other side was like that also til it was cleaned by soaking it in vinegar which really works well for cleaning them as you can see it doesnt harm the flint but i generally try to leave one side as it was found when they are like that it pretty well eliminates any question of authenticity not that i would be trying to sell any i did that once and have always regretted it
