Black Glass"Carlsbad Water" or "Carlsbader Sprudel" Bottle (1880 - 1890)
Found about 30 bottles in my last search , wanted to highlight this one now i found the background of it.
"Carlsbad Water" or "Carlsbader Sprudel" as it was better known in Austria, was one of the miracle "cure-alls" during the Lithiated Water craze of the late 1800s. This great "cure" for everything from constipation to urinary infections was bottled and exported from Austria by the "Lobel Schottlander Carlsbad" company, and was distributed by wholesalers in New York and Philadelphia.
Base of bottle is embossed: "CARLSBAD . LS".
(c.1880s-1890s)
found pics of an simular bottle on ebay with the label on it as reference
