That's a nice small anvil! It's Columbian is a good name. Haybuden is the most popular. It is not a farrier's anvil but was used for smaller jobs. In my area Because of the rarity it will sell for $700/900 range.

In the southeast antique tractors, engines, farm implentments, and anything blacksmith is very collectable. Several of my friends have complete shops set up. I have a small working shop. I may have been a little high on the price but I have only seen two of those. I just sold a 70 haybuden for $12oo.

I called one of my mentors, he said he purchased one of the small Columbians years ago for $350. He said they were dated 1920's and up and called jewelry anvils' He also the most of all anvils made today are junk!!!
