Blank planchet?

I was roll hunting cents today, and I just found this. It weighs 2.5 grams and I believe it is a blank planchet. What do y'all think? I have never found one before, and I have only seen a few.

quick look at my red book says $3 for a copper planchet and $2 for a zinc, 2.5 grams that's zinc, it looks milled, milled planchets are worth less than raw, rough edged. my red book is 6 years out of date
