Looks like there were a lot of nice flakes have been removed from that. I'll bet a lot of that piece was utilized in several ways before it reached this stage. Looks like a nice chopper or something to me now.

Like quito says it was probably much bigger at one time. If there is edge work then it was a handheld tool imo. Nice one to

Yeah... Chopper or adze or celt... Celts would have some polishing though. I like adze for this exhausted piece... Nice pick!!

My opinion, after having made a few of these is its a hand ax/knife made to be like it is. Gorgeous little thing ain't it?
