More info on the pin, It says "New York State Commission Paris Exposition 1900" and its from the World's fair in Paris 1900...cool stuff. That's something you don't find everyday..

Sweet finds, nice variety of cool finds!

Just call me Mr. Grinch because I am green with envy!

nice digs I got the same token in 2011 in Chicago 1341975570927.webp

Thanks, supposedly they were only issued that year, who would've knew...I am hung up on this 1900's bronze Paris exposition badge...Numismedia had it listed, but that s all I could find so far

Wow, what are the odds of a hundred and fourteen year old Paris Exposition commision shield existing, let alone being recovered with a shovel and a screen!?! Exceptional find. Nice cleaning job as well.:icon_thumleft:

Thanks! I mean how many of them are in existence , let alone finding one sifting..

Seems the layers are getting better and better. Keep going, man. Love the watch, does it open?

looking back at my post i have an almost identical
sterling watch key, mine says sterling on both sides

What did you use to clean the medallion and pin so well? Thanks for any info. Congrats on the finds!

Some information on the 1900 Paris Exposition, since I can't find Jack Chism on the badge. So I figured I'd she'd some history light on it.. everything I am reading about the items from the 1900 exposition are either in big time private collections or under lock and key in university vaults..

Cool stuff you have been finding. I still think you are gonna come across something that just knocks you socks off!! Keep at it and good luck.

I hope so, given the items I have been finding says the family that lived in the area had a high social standing..a couple $5 liberty heads would suit me just fine..

Great finds! That Paris shield is awesome!
