I made a list for hunting Playground Equipment Parks in the Bloomington/Normal area. I thought I would share this info with people on the Illinois site who might be looking for a place to hunt. Along with the list is the town regulations for park use. If you plan on hunting them please print out the rules to take with you. I will be updating this list when new places come to my attention. This is ONLY a list of the parks with playground equipment that are in wood chips. Wood chip playgrounds make a great place to hunt when the ground is frozen in the winter  .

I just ask that if you come to follow the rules of filling your holes and taking your trash with you.

And please do not dig in Normal parks outside of the wood chip area. Golf is prohibited and they will pass a Park Ordinance against metal detecting if the golfers complain.

I have a few park playground routes here developed that I work regularly. It's the greatest source of both vendoteria/tollway change and low-end jewelry. Of course I'm through them all before people and kids show up. Get to know the hotspots at each of these and you'll be filling them piggy banks in no time.

Baby swings, best gold to tash ratio anywhere unless you're a prospector. Swingsets, great coin/jewelry drop spots. Anything that kids can hang upside down gets you whatever was in their pockets. And that does get as creepy as it sounds. But since I'm a creep, eh!
