Blue Bowl Question

I setup my blue bowl for the first time, followed the instructions, and added 30 mesh to it. I run it but not sure how much water to give it and how long it should take to clear out. I can see very little gold pieces underneath but when it gets to the end they arent as many there. Also i dont get the starfish effect to stay. It comes and goes. Its perfectly level and added jet dry. Should I add the cons while its running or off and where on the bowl do I add the cons. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I run mine about a 1/4 inch from the top of the bowl and add material as needed along the side of the bowl. When you put material in the water will slow for just a moment and come back to where it needs to be.

Throw away instructions-move control valve 12" from bowl,run full bore to the top,swirl effect is absolutely what is needed-introduce slowly wet up against the wall,6" up from inlet and let it feather out for max recovery. Dealer and user for over 28 years and gotten TONS a talcum powder gold from them lovely lil'ol'thangs. Look on the bottom for serial # as Frank was keeping with tradition and hot stamping them for theft ID-John
