2) Is that a little streak of oxblood in the first pic? Might help ID it. If so, I'd say Alley.

OK, now you are just showing off! I looked at the pic you ? about whether it had oxblood and I thot "nah, just a splotch". So I dug out the marble and holy cow it was! Then I looked closer and saw two additional strips (you couldn't see from my pics b/c of the angle). I'm tellin ya, you are goooood!! What maker was your second choice - I'm guessing one where oxblood is never seen?

I was having a hard time pinning it down but probably would have said Alley anyway, but the streak of oxblood made it much easier. Cac had crossed my mind but by the time I wrote the reply I had all but ruled it out.

I am still amazed you spotted that SPECK of oxblood. (Are you a bat or something?) I had the puppy in hand and noticed NONE of it. I realize my swirls are chiefly "plain"; but I still like em. When you really look at them; their simple traits still make me happy (I'm easily pleased). Do you have any "up a notch" swirls (not talking pelts here..) that you have kept just because? Share if you get a chance.
