I was going through the woods with my metal detector looking for a meteorite that landed a few months before. Stumbled on some large rocks that seemed out of place. Found a couple old odd looking tools and a bunch of square nails. Then started finding items that dated late 1700s to early 1800s from England. Spoons, buttons, musket rounds, skeleton key, copper ring, copper amulet, bunch of other cool stuff. There's still more out there.
