Is there a book that covers all coins from different time periods in America from Spanish explorers to our modem currency?

Only book I use is the "Red Book"

Are you including Central and South America or only North America.
And if you're including only North America, are you including Canada, Newfoundland, etc.??

Just north American mainly the U.S.

I use a book entitled: 2013 North American Coins and Prices -A Guide to US, Canadian and Mexican Coins--David C. Harper, Editor. Krause Publications
It works well except for Mexican coins minted before 1700.
