Do you wear anything that you found?
I could never wear rings, bracelets, watches or necklaces - ever since I was
a kid. No matter how loose they are I feel that theyre tight - tried wearing necklaces
I found... no matter how long they hung - felt like they were choking me.
What I do wear are "nice" sunglasses Ive found = havent bought sunglasses
in like 40yrs. I currently wear a pair of $200+ Ray Bans - I used to wear $250+ pair like
Brad Pitt used to wear but they got broke
I can only imagine how much in retail ive found over the yrs - its got to be in the $1000s
I always get nice ones on Fla. trips - have a lot of high end womens ones over
the yrs - my GF has like 10 pair that she hs confiscated (she has a lot of rings under arrest too :tongue3: )

When I was working, some 20 years ago, I wore several of my favorite rings that I had found. Each brought back a memory of a place or a group I was with when I found the one I was wearing on any given day. Then I fond an Navy fowled anchor on a chain. I wear it for the same reason. I have it on right now. I had a favorite diamond ring that I wore until my buddy found a woman's necklace After a month of haggling we made a trade with a promise that we would keep each item and either of us could barrow our original item when ever we wished to. Then a couple of years ago I found another diamond ring. The ring was from a store my parents would take me to for Christmas shopping and now I wear it almost everyday. Yea, it all about memories. At my age I need a reminder every now and again.
Thanks for helping me remember many of the people I have detected with and the places I have detected.

I can't wear rings, after a couple days my skin breaks out under them. I also find it irritating wearing a chain around my neck. However, that's good since I work in a factory environment. It's not pretty when a ring or necklace gets caught in machinery.

I ware my treasure coins that I find. I also give them to family and friends after they are mounted in bezels. All the bezels are made by a trusted jeweler and friend from my gold ring finds each year. It has been an incredible journey the last few years, and I have been blessed to be able to m create beautiful 1733, and 1715 fleet pieces of jewelry. I just found a great little coin in sept. Of 2024. I took a diamond band and stripped it of its VS-1 diamonds 💎. Then I took 6 gold rings (gold bands) and 3 were cast into a bezel, and 3 were used to pay for the labor !! My jewler set the diamonds around the bezel, and then I gave this wonderful piece to my Bahamian friend who was kind enough to take me to a spot where great treasure coins have been found !! I found a nice long 18k chain for it also, so everything was free....not a single dime spent for some great treasure pieces that are proudly worn, with tremendous treasure finding stories behind every piece !! The first one I made was a dream come true, and I never expected that I would one day have a half dozen mounted treasure coins under my belt !! Its just been the most fantastic journey ive ever taken regarding treasure finds !! Here's some pics and threads about my coins i ware !!

Plenty more to mount also....this is what really motivates me to hunt these days....I want to find treasure coins and mount them into jewelry pieces !!

I wear some of the wrist watches I've found over the years. That's about it.....no rings, no bracelets or necklaces.

I’ve only got one find that I’ve considered mounting to a bezel. My 1864 Rupee from Hyderabad India (the craziest coin I ever found)…
I just don’t know how it’d look with Arabic letters wrapped around my neck.
I suppose if I ever come across some Spanish, I’d consider that even more.
My wife is a silversmith, and she could easily do it, guess I’m just waiting for the right piece.
She wears the rings she’s stolen from me on occasion, and also has a Merc on her charm bracelet. I told her I found it, I really have no idea if I did haha.

Oh, and Casper and Bart…. When I tell people that I got friends in NE and the Keys, who are treasure hunting rock stars, who find shit I’ll never find, I’m talking about you. :notworthy:

I am married 22 years now, and am an electrician for a town in MA. I work on a lot of live circuits, so I do not wear my ring at work. So bout 10 years ago when a social event came up, and me Missus expected me to wear my wedding ring, I found it is now too tight to put on. I just happen to have a silver one I found, that fits me perfectly. So when I need to wear a wedding ring, that’s the one I wear.

I am the same way....if i have to ware a wedding band, I pick one out of the stash of rings. I've noticed that some are very comfortable and others can't even be worn because they are painful. My real wedding band is a tungsten and carbon fiber.....I was sure I would lose a gold band....turns out I can't ware rings....they can injure me or be lost as a fisherman!!

While I enjoy viewing these items a lot , I would never wear any of them around ANY city like where I live ! Doing so will get you robbed and or shot for it! Why tempt these crooks !
My chain is tucked in, or just not worn when I'm off the island....the mainland metro Miami area is just to crazy in some areas. On the island my chain and coin are my brand....everyone knows me and my story, and now the coins are my identity. They are called a "Key West dog tag" and if your lucky enough to find your own, then you are in a very select group of people who have succeeded where many have tried and failed. It truly is an island badge of honor 🎖 to find your own. My wife has enjoyed the conversation that will inevitably take place when people notice here treasure coin !!
