Hi, I have also replied to you on this post:? http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,3685.0.html

About the bottle caps, there are alot, and I will help you dig them all? ;D
When I fist started I dug alot of them. Then I got to where I wouldn't dig a signal that sounded too close to the surface, or too strong to be anything old, or really worth finding. But, all that changed after finding a sterling silver cross, that I thought was either a bottle cap, or just some clad below the surface...

I almost walked past this signal, but I was having a slow day, so I dug it? ;D
You may have already see it, if not you can see it here: http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,3792.0.html

Keep dig'n em all...

Hey Leon...I saw the cross. Prety cool and great find!!
I dug them all because they gave the same reading as my gold wedding ring. You never know! :-)

I've dug foreign coins, clad quarters and nickels, gold rings, and other goodies that sounded off in the bottle-cap range.? Any target you locate can fool your detector into thinking its something else. One of the nicest things I ever found is an intricately woven thick silver chain I -almost- didn't dig because I thought it was going to be an aluminum can. I almost didn't dig a working Rolex because it sounded like a crusty old zinc penny! You never know until you dig it up, what it really is!

That's true...notice I DID dig them...interestingly the gave the exact same reading as my gold wedding ring.
(had to check) :-0
