Hey there people! I found and plucked out a small flat backed triangular brown bottle among pinnacle rocks where it used to be an excavation area. It was partially underground. The site has its history dating back to 1914 where Europeans assisted in the excavation. It’s about 68mm x 26mm x 20mm. On the front side is NOT TO BE TAKEN, on each sides to this are 27 embossed X. At the base is the letter “W”on the front side and on the flat side appears to be” M45?” . I cannot make out the last character hence the question mark. Any assistance to help me identify the bottle and where it may have originated from and etc etc would be really appreciated.

It is an older poison bottle of some sort.

Poison bottles had dimples on them so people wold not mistakenly consume the contents when it was dark. The dimples identified the bottle as poison.

By the look of the lip on your poison I would say its abm. Meaning its a machine made bottle . It would date to 1903 - 1915. There's not a hole lot of value but poisons are collectible. Nice find
