Haven't been detecting that much lately more mud Larking when the water was low or in a few Victorian dumps. Wish that teal bottle was whole it's an Elliot and Ledlie squat soda or mineral water out of Trenton, NJ may be a good candidate for a drinking glass. Depends if the crack in the upper section that just makes it into where the bottle would be cut for a glass. Also have 2 cobalt marbles, a cobalt radio antenna insulator, a white ceramic Thomas nail knob insulator, a 1930s Whitehall Tatum no. 3 aqua insulator, a 1950 coke bottle with Atlantic City embossed on base. Apparently there are 1450 different bottling cities embossed on coke bottle bases upto early 1960s. Assuming the wide mouth jar is a pickle jar? Very crude and wonky lip seam goes a bit over halfway up neck. Little bottle with marble onto was found in a another dump site along with the broken 518 locust Philada hutch soda. Wish that hutch was whole it's dated 1900 on the base. The little bottle is older than it looks yes it's screw top but it's a ground lip screw top and has 4 mold vent dots on base. Lantern burner and the funky aqua glass liner came out of a dump as well. Liner has a patent date of May 8th 1894 on it. It's from some kinda of trinket jar that converted to an inkwell. See patent drawing.

Lastly a very good details 1864 Indian. It's edges have some chips unfortunately. Doesn't appear to be rarer 1864 -L. Also a crunchy no date fatty Indian and a lead shot ball came out of the woods near an old school.

I like that Trenton NJ bottle. I wouldn't cut it into a drinking glass, but rather rebuild it with resin so it can look as it once did (like what museums do with ancient pottery).

Like wise in the liking-though I do like the drinking glass idea-never gave it a thought of doing that with a shard before.
The family use to make tumblers beer glasses out of the stubby Heidelberg beer bottles and sell them to the tourists.
Remember scoring, tapping, polishing, glueing, selling-good times.

Thanks everyone. Adventure Archaeology does it with broken bottles he finds creek walking. Uses Antique Bottle Glasses in Florida.

Have to get back to where the Indians came from mainly because I think Ieft my pruning sheers under a tree. Quiet signal wise but maybe I'll move the fallen tree branches out of the way and see if I missed anything. Found an old two piece button in there too but it fell apart on me.

Nice finds. Mudlarking is so fun. Did that quite a bit this summer. My friend and I found a hot spot of over 100 bottles from the late 1800s to mid 1900s. Water is back up again so we'll have to wait. Time to dig now.
