bounty hunter pioneer good or bad

I'm looking at buying one and want to know if I should or wait. my friend has it and never used it but once to find his keys. He said I could have it for 65 is that a good deal our a waste of money. Right now I'm using a coinmaster 5000/d by whites

Your Whites is vastly superior to the Bounty Hunter, However, If you can buy the Bounty Hunter for $65; Why not? It would be a great loaner detector to introduce a friend to the hobby.

i started with the bounty hunter 505 to me this was a great under rated detector i now have a whites xlt a mine lab explorer se pro and a garrett at pro and i still like that little bh505 my stepson has it he also enjoys it the 505 has made many nice finds 65.00 buy it can,t go wrong alwas a good back or loner
