Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II

Hey everyone, I'm new here and have only been MD'ing since 12/25/07 which is when I got my detector (x-mas gift from the wife). I'm still trying to learn my machine, it's a BH QD II (same as title). I was wondering if anyone else out there has one and what could they yell me about it. I'm having a rough time trying to figure out how to set the Disc and the Sens. I know part of the problem is I haven't been able to get out with it near as much as I'd like to but I'm working on it.

If your like most of us guys, you save reading the manual for last. That will explain where to set the controls to start. Don't turn up the Sens. to far as that will just make it unstable. Lay some coins, nails, pull tabs and such on the ground where there is no metal underneath and start waving the coil over them to hear the sounds. Start at Zero Disc. and work up to see where they null out and go from there.

Learn to pinpoint well and don't ever leave a mess retreiving a target. Make it look like it was before you started throwing dirt all over the place. Be neat! Good Luck.
