All Treasure Hunting
Bought myself a TR a cpl of weeks ago on the bay for $80.00 being the latest V4. I had read about its features "Sniff" and "Blanker" and sounded interesting. Turned out that the "Blanker" feature on the V4 had changed compared to the previous versions of the TR, first versions when using the Blanker you could ignore shallow targets either 2" or 4", on the V4 is different, let's say you are getting a bunch of pull tabs in your site, use the blanker on it and they're gone along with the nickels. No Nickels = No Gold, well that's what I've heard. Anyway got my TR this past Monday and took it out today to the park for a 2 hr hunt, finally stopped raining here in South Texas. I used the Sniff feature on a nickel reading at 25 so everything was ignores except +/- 15 of the reading of the nickel so I found a nickel along with pull tabs and foil at a depth of 5", so that feature is pretty nice to have. Anyway here some pics of today's find while I messed around with my TR. Best from nds a 1952 Wheatie and a 1967 Rossie.

Too bad your dime wasn't a few more years older, like a 64' then she would have found silver.

Looks like that detector is working good :occasion14:
