Bounty Hunter Time Ranger problems.

I have just recently upgraded from my Bounty Tracker IV to the Time Ranger. It is definitely more powerful but have been having a couple issues. The biggest being that while sweeping i will. Constantly get a high hit in the 100's reading DEEP TARGET $1 but will never get a hit again. Even after increasing sensitivty and reducing disc. Anyone else have this issue?
