Bowl and tea kettle

My daughter bought this set at a yard sale years ago. There are no markings except for the design which looks to be hand painted. Does this look familiar to anyone?

Said to be from the 1960s. Note that the price ($59) includes two vases and a ginger jar in a matching pattern as well as the teapot. If our esteemed member @Yang Hao sees this post, he can probably tell you what the poem is.

It is a proverb. The characters are as follows:

黎明即起，灑掃庭除（lí míng jí qǐ，sǎ sǎo tíng chú）黎明即起，洒扫庭除.
It translates into: You get up at dawn and sweep the courtyard.

It implies that you are to be very diligent in managing your family.

It comes from 《朱子治家格言》"Master zhu's Maxims on Managing a Household." He is also known as 朱熹 zhuxi
