boxes of halves, backordered or forgotten?

I just talked to the bank to make sure they had my phone number when the two boxes I ordered last week came in.

They told me that the are "backordered" .... right .... I think they forgot to order them!

luckily that was just one order have another at another bank that should be in today

Yea got that excuse a couple of times over the years, I chalked it up to someone forgot to order, but never caused any issues, just waited to the following week.

I'm just patient. It's not their job to provide coins for free to collectors. I take the good with the bad.

Ben, are you having troubles with ordering from Citizens? They said they were not sure they could take my orders anymore. I am worried they are trying to shut me down like MSX.

This is only the second time I have ordered from Citizens, I do think they forgot. The first time was about 6 weeks ago. I also spread my orders around.

I just opened an acct with citizens and they said they can order me boxes of halves. I already have two standing orders from other banks so I have not ordered any thru them yet.
