While I often frequent garage sales, I do so not to flip for profit, more for entertainment.....
But today, I had to brag about this score....
$109 - $129 usually for this brand, but got for $20!:hello2:
Turns out, it was a gift to the lady, but she was a vegetarian, so had no use for it.
Our plans were to hit Sams Club today to load up on meat, so baby back ribs became the plan for dinner tonight......:headbang:

My neighbor bought one at a yard sale as well oh my goodness were the chicken wings good in that thing

McGregor was loaded today, we brought home cabinets for the shed, a composter, a really nice bookshelf...among a whole bunch of little odds and ends...
Best score was actually an antique Eveready shoe stretcher, pat date Dec. 22, 1908.... for 25¢!

I saw those sales there. I didn't go to any of them. All that stuff normally hit hard by what 8:00? We did go to a couple off of Daniels and then some community sale, Majestic palms or something. I got a 9K gold necklace, couple small pieces of scrap 14 K. Sterling Walkingstick and some very expensive pens I have to research. I think there was like 247 sales advertised on the Yard Sale app and a whole lot not listed too.

I would have wrapped it and given it as a gift

That's funny I'm cooking chicken right now on the grill with the same barbecue sauce. ! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1485648297.983292.webp

Awww....Jeff, my wife would have been so grateful for your gift....
What a lovely sentiment....that's nice.

Good idea, you provide the cooker, I'll bring the food?!?

Sweet Baby Rays sauce is my favorite.

Hilarious! Get a meat roaster as a gift for a vegetarian! Nice

We've still got one of the first models they came out with, and it is WELL used!! But lately, we've been getting seasoned whole chickens that you just puncture the bag, pop it in the oven and wait for the timer to go off. Is a lot less to clean up!

Hell of a deal though!! :occasion14:

So, just about every nite I jokingly ask my wife, "what did you burn for dinner?"....
As it turns out, she is still learning how to use her new toy....:dontknow:

The kids call this an "epic fail" honey, it's ok though, I still ate it.

was that a dwarf?

Is that chicken wearing jacket? they are a bit tricky to cook with. Mine bit 5he dust and nobody requested I replace it.

I can't stop laughing at the name "Verti Genius" and that bird in the same photo!

My wife likes her chicken close to looking like that! When we go to pick up the rotisserie chicken at Sam's Club on days she doesn't want to cook, she looks for the ones that look as close to that as possible!
