Couple lunch hunts this week at sites I've been pounding all year. Several new sites not panning out.
Decided to take the blackberry briar patch attack to the next level. These patches are not friendly all year so they are little islands of virgin ground often adjacent to areas that has produced. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1500571630.228760.jpg
5' long 10" dia heavy wall flooring tube makes clearing a path easy. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1500571712.181631.jpg 1943 GW, wheats and old nickels today. Silver to Wheat ratio FTY 32:111. Some other relics popped up at this site. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1500571819.216124.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1500571844.148003.jpg The monogrammed spoon was found in 2 holes 12" apart and is dated 1896, too bad plated. The sinkers are strange in that they were in the farm field no lakes or streams nearby.
Also hit one of my older sites. Previously found a 1" brass / bronze black powder mill ball, now have a complete set of balls! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1500571958.235632.jpg Also found a pocket knife and my first miners style tag with a chain attached. Chain appears gold plated which is very strange. Thanks for looking and comments appropriated.

Good luck out there!

Thx Javadroid! Typically I'm out in search for high tones ( I'm a silver coin hunter at heart), but lack of good new accessible sites has me digging mid tones now which is leading to a wide range of finds. Plus I keep reading threads on gold coins, so I have to dig mid tones....The GW was under a pull tab near the nickels. You never know what's in there until you dig!

The old pocket knife is sweet, I found a pocket knife a couple weeks ago but it was broken and probably not as old. You're officially a baller for sure haha

Thx Metal Headz. One end of the pocket knife was encrusted in an inch of rust, decided to give it a knock with my hammer and walla it came somewhat clean. Yes, with my second ball I am officially part of Big Baller Metal Detecting...
