Brass (?) Bowl marked India

[sailormufasa]

Hi,
I'm new around here, so I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I found this small, (I think) brass bowl in my dad's things.

The only marking is where it says India on the bottom. I tried looking on eBay, but I didn't see anything close to this. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Look like the items from India made in the 60's/70's to sell at World Bazar type shops at the malls.
