This is a picture of today's finds... both metal detecting and a little sifting. Love those Bennington marbles! But what I'm posting about is that brass hookj in the lower-left. Does anybody know what that was? The site dates to the mid 1980s and I believe the houses were torn down in the 50s. Victorian curtain hook, maybe?

Seems they get called Victorian picture hangers.
" Victorian picture rail hooks" if you search online for them.

Iron Buzz, I think sutphin is refering to the garter-clasp-looking object at lower right in your photo.

I haven't seen one quite like it. There seems to be a "Brand" name and some US Patent information (such as a date) marked on it. Please tell us what those markings say.

Oh, I'm sure he was referring to the garter clip. I was puzzled by the Katelynn Jenner reference.

It says, "Crown Make". I have been able to find that brand, but not that particular clasp online.
