This brass item was found near to the bottle I posted about yesterday under finally found it. I am thinking it might be a part to a stove or a part to a door latch

It looks like a spring button off of a shaft (like on a metal detector). Maybe the spoon on the end held a spring?

I am thinking latch but it is heavy duty to just be a regular type latch maybe more along the lines of a safe

It could be that but I am not sure what that is .A guess would be a part to a telegraph or phone.There was a lot of junk metal in the area I found the brass Piece .Maybe the next time will reveal what the part came from Thanks
