Hi all,
Found this in a spot with old tokens, indian head, and silver star cut from a seated half. I feel like its identifiable and it reminds me of something but I can't figure it out! Thanks for looking

I was thinking sundial as well...seems like a fairly crude design for something like a sundial tho.

That's not a right angle by the way. It's bigger than 90 degrees. Kinda like between a barrel and butt stock degree

Kinda looks like part of a frame. The black vertical strip in the second pictures looks like it was a seal of some sort.
