✅ SOLVED Brass plume holder?

Dug this yesterday along with some military buttons.
Would this be a brass plume holder of sorts.
The disc has flattened and taco'd it but it all there.
Gold guiding on the tips remain.
4 holes on sides and one in the center.
Let me know your thoughts.
