The smaller brass tip is the unidentified item. The bayonet scabbard tip is for reference. I found this at a house site (1850 - 1960). Civil War relics have been found here. The brass tip has no attachment holes at the top and the finial is fancier than a scabbard tip finial. Is this a scabbard tip? A tip from some military equipment? Horse equipment? Curtain pull tip? Other? Any information is appreciated.
