Found this brass doo-dad the other day. Any idea what it may be? Seems to have had a wooden rod inside pinned with an iron pin. It’s a small piece overall.

I'm thinking this is an electrical connector of some sort. :icon_scratch:

I'm thinking the tip to a wooden curtain draw pull rod.? Can't find a pic of an old one, but you can still buy a new one.

THATS WHERE IVE SEEN IT!!! Modern blinds have a piece like this for opening and closing by twisting the rod. Omg making me nuts! Well I doubt they had blinds at this house but maybe another similar function. It is literally the same size as one of the modern plastic ones from blinds though.

There was a patent for blinds in 1888 so maybe!
