Brass whatsits from an old home site and a bullet

These were found in Amelia County, VA at an old homesite. Home is no longer standing. All objects are non-ferrous, penny for size reference. Any ideas here? Any ideas on the bullet?

Billet is a modern type shotgun slug, Foster type I think it's called. Can't help with the other parts...d2

Also try to take the pics in natural light on a medium dark, non-reflective background - like a dark towel or a tee-shirt or a piece of fabric.
